The Solar Barque of Yuya (Papyrus of Yuya)

The scene depicts a funerary boat painted on papyrus, featuring a green-hulled vessel with a mast and a large white rectangular sail. To the left, a seated figure dressed in white holds a flail; to the right, a second figure with reddish-brown skin steers the boat using a long oar. Hieroglyphic columns flank the central vignette on both sides and span the entire lower register of the frame. The color palette is restricted to earth tones: tan background, yellow for the boat's frame and oars, white for the sail and clothing, and dark green for the hull.
