Regarding the second Name original: "Havayah," the four-letter Tetragrammaton, there remained twenty-four parts. From the first part, ten sources were made; from the second, five sources; from the third, seven sources; and from the fourth, five sources. A sign was made for them, and this sign is called the Explicit Name Shem HaMephorash: the distinct, hidden name of God spelled as Yod-He-Vav-Dalet. These four letters were further divided into seventy-two letters. Therefore, these four letters are called the "Explicit Name" because they are the essence of the seventy-two principles, which intermingle with one another.
