original: "Von heimligkeit," referring here to the secret or internal plans of the Divine mind.
After all this, he is almost able to
calculate original: "vberschlagen," meaning to estimate, weigh the costs, or project the final outcome. what the work should
cost. Likewise, it is natural to believe that
God the Almighty, the eternal wisdom,
a Master of all things—who is the
wisdom of all wisdom, and the Master
of all masters, from whom the world
derives its wisdom and mastery, and
every individual receives as much as is
pleasing to His Divine will, etc.
Should then this same eternal wisdom
and Master not have known beforehand,
and seen such things within the
eternal Godhead Godhead: "Gottheit," the essential nature or essence of God and wisdom—
all things that were created here,
how they should be, including their
beginning, middle, and end? It
was not possible in the nature of things
that He should not have seen all this
beforehand in His Divine essence and
wisdom, or should not have known it.
For since God is the beginning and the
cause original: "vrsach," the primary source or reason for existence. of all things, it is therefore natural
to believe that He knew and saw
all things beforehand—how they would
become and should be—through His
eternal, almighty Godhead, above all
things.
