Armorial bookplate of John Paget. The heraldic shield is divided into four sections by a cross with scalloped edges. The upper-left section displays a scallop shell—often a symbol of pilgrimage—while the lower-left contains a waning crescent moon. The right side of the shield features a horizontal band decorated with three roses. The shield is surrounded by ornate, shell-like scrollwork in the Rococo style. A ribbon below bears the name "John Paget." At the bottom is the signature of the engraver: "Horne, 233, Strand," a known London stationer active in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
