Let the Seal or the characteristic title be formed of that spirit whom you intend to summon and call forth; it must, however, be written with the blood of a jet-black Raven upon virgin paper Paper or parchment made without previous use or specific ritual purity that has been blackened, and it should be hung upon a staff cut from a Hazel tree and erected at the edge of the circle; as this figure shows:
