When one Brother original: "Bruder" confides something to another, it must be sacred to him. No one—and not even another Brother—is permitted to learn of it; for the general confidentiality of the Order original: "Ordens" must not run contrary to the specific laws of friendship. It was stated above that there may be Brothers with an evil heart; selfishness, a lack of spiritual affinity original: "Unverwandtschaft", the ignorance of superiors, and other improper paths may have led them into the Lodge original: "Loge". Toward such Brothers, one must exercise a very particular caution original: "Behutsamkeit" in social interaction; one must have as little to do with them as possible, and yet not entirely cast them out, otherwise the reputation original: "Ansehn" of the Order would suffer among the Profane, because they might know—
