Though the title says 1527, the first edition was actually completed and published posthumously in 1528.
And now translated into our Dutch tongue, for the service of those
who love the art, and do not understand the Latin or High German
language.
The monogram of Albrecht Dürer, consisting of a large capital letter 'A' with a smaller capital letter 'D' nested beneath the crossbar of the 'A'.
