By this, Your Electoral Serene Highnesses and Princely Graces demonstrate such a Christian work of governance as shall serve the spread of God's Name, Praise, and Honor; and the most gracious God, as a true rewarder of all good, will reward with temporal and eternal blessing. You shall also through this—alongside the liberation and easing of your Electoral and Princely consciences for having saved your fellow believers, for which indeed no ornament is more worthy of a Prince’s high station, and no crown more beautiful original Latin: ob confortes fidei servatos, quô quidem nullum Principis fastigio dignius est ornamentum, nulla pulchrior corona—attain and acquire before the whole world and dear posterity an immortal name and highly praised reputation.
And all faithful Protestant Silesians will at all times thankfully acknowledge and praise such high benevolence, praying for it before God, and also on every occurring occasion, with most obedient and humble services to the best of their ability, strive with the greatest diligence to reciprocate; with this further assurance, that they—especially toward their highest authority appointed by God—with steadfast and persistent devotion original: devotion; here meaning a mixture of religious piety and political loyalty, sparing neither goods nor blood, are eager and most diligent to prove themselves upright, as is well becoming, incumbent upon, and proper for faithful and most obedient subjects and vassals original: Vasallen; individuals who owe allegiance and service to a superior lord in exchange for protection.
