of Reason. And it is so indeed; but such a New System wherein everything is found that can make it extremely probable and useful. Since the Gods of the Greeks and Romans originated from Egypt and Phoenicia, it is very natural that the origin of those names must also be sought in those languages, especially when this is easy to do, and not in Greek; for when they adopted the Gods, they also adopted their names and retained most of them, with some softening of the pronunciation according to the nature of their own language.

The Gods of the Greeks originating from Egypt and Phoenicia, these in turn originate from the Mysterious or Hieroglyphic writing original: "Beelden Schrift," literally "image-writing" of the ancient Egyptians; and thus that innocent writing became, over time, the origin of the whole of Pagan Idolatry. The origin, in turn, of this Symbolic writing original: "Zinnebeeldig Schrift" was the necessity in which the Ancient Egyptians, the Children of Ham original: "Kinderen van Cham"; in the 18th century, the biblical lineage of Ham (son of Noah) was commonly used to explain the origins of African and Egyptian civilizations, found themselves to establish new laws and regulations relating to agri-
