rarity of this work, it is doubly interesting from the use which Shakespeare has made of it in King Lear, and because it allows us to fix the timeline original: "chronology" of that play with reasonable accuracy. Sold at the Roxburghe The library of John Ker, 3rd Duke of Roxburghe, sold in a landmark auction in 1812. sale, number 272, for 8 shillings. Sold at the Worth sale, part 3, number 691, for 14 shillings. This current copy, which is in excellent condition, cost me 1 pound and 5 shillings.
