Rahu The North Node of the Moon should be understood as supreme; he is also of the Nishada A marginalized social group in ancient India, often associated with hunters or forest-dwellers caste. He is the master of the bones and is called the Serpent or Snake. It is also stated in the Samjna Tantra A foundational technical treatise on astrological terminology: "Rahu should be understood as being like Saturn; he is also a Serpent and of the Nishada caste, according to the experts." Regarding the "field of vision," all these aforementioned effects of the planets should be understood based on their aspect The "glance" or mathematical alignment of a planet at the time of birth or during the yearly transit. || 28 ||
The houses beginning with the Body The First House are: Body, Wealth, Siblings, Relatives, Children, Enemies, Wife, and Destruction Death. Then follow Dharma Fortune/Duty, Profession, Income, and Expenditure. The Lagna Ascendant is also called the Sign, the House, and the Hora Hour-marker. || 29 ||
Happiness and sorrow, the extent of one's hardships and age, loss, and the consideration of one's outward appearance original: "varna," referring to color or complexion must be examined. Character, caste, and wealth are seen from the "Body" house, as well as the head; the Lagna is the house where money and physical elements are to be considered in their entirety. || 30 ||
Regarding the houses starting with the Body: "Character and caste" refers to one's conduct and social standing, such as being a Brahmin and so on. || 29 || 30 ||
The happiness derived from siblings is to be considered from the "Born-together" house The Third House. From the "Happiness" house The Fourth House, one considers joy and sorrow, fields, and entering a home. From the "Son" house The Fifth House, one learns of gardens, medicines, treasures, and the happiness derived from children and education. || 31 || Leprosy, urinary disorders, and similar diseases, ulcerations, other men's wives, and the maternal kin; servants, grain, and four-legged animals—all these are to be considered from the "Enemy" house The Sixth House. || 32 || From the "Passion" house The Seventh House, one considers commerce, disputes, theft, gambling original: "durodaram", women, and coming and going. From the "Death" house The Eighth House, one considers death, long-term matters, affliction by disease, and the loss of lifespan. || 33 ||
