in the heavens and on earth has been given to You, and through You has been taken from them original: "ihnen." In this theological context, this likely refers to the "powers and principalities" or demonic forces often cited in early modern spiritual literature.; so that we, being delivered from their power and fear, might guard ourselves against their cunning and terrors within Your fellowship and discipleshiporiginal: "Nachfolge." This term implies more than just belief; it refers to the "following of Christ" or the active imitation of His life and virtues., serving You without fear throughout our lives, and living and reigning with You for all eternity. Bless also these pages—consecrated in deep reverence to Your honor and the glory of Your majesty—for the praise of God Your Father, and for the benefit of the people so highly beloved by HIM and by YOU, and their so dearly redeemed souls.
