Through which he granted the inquisitors against heretics permission to introduce the witch-trial in Germany.

1. INNOCENTIUS, Bishop, servant of the servants of GOD. For the future remembrance of the thing. Desiring with the highest aspirations, as the care of pastoral solicitude requires, that the Catholic faith might be increased and flourish everywhere, especially in our times, and all heretical depravity be driven far from the boundaries of the faithful, we gladly declare that, and also grant anew, through which this pious desire of ours may attain a desired effect.
