Isis Revelata: An Inquiry into Animal Magnetism

Within the limits which I had prescribed for myself in this publication, it was found quite impossible to fully explain all the details of this interesting subject. This would have required, at the very least, a large volume. All that I intended for myself, therefore, at this time, was merely to give such an introductory notice of this discovery as might prepare the reader, to some degree, for a more serious study of its nature and principles, and of the evidence by which its reality is supported. Should the present minor publication attract any significant share of attention, additional information can easily be communicated in the future.
