A detailed horizontal line-drawing engraving depicting a classical religious procession. The scene features a large group of figures in ancient Greek or Roman dress. Some participants carry baskets of offerings (grapes, flowers) on their heads, while others play musical instruments including flutes and tambourines. A central feature is a herm—a stone pillar topped with a bearded male bust—representing Iacchos or Dionysus. On the right side, several figures are seated or reclining on the ground amidst ritual objects and foliage. Small, separate sketches of flowering plants are visible in the lower right corner of the plate area.
