Original Chinese: Sancai Tuhui (三才圖會). "Three Powers" refers to the triad of Heaven, Earth, and Humanity, representing the entirety of the known universe.
The Renwu (Humanity/Figures) section contains portraits and brief biographies of emperors, officials, scholars, and notable commoners.
Wang Qi (1529–1612) was the chief editor; Yunjian is a literary name for the Songjiang region near modern Shanghai.
