Stationed at the Yizhen river mouth. Two officers are specifically responsible for anti-piracy and thief-capture operations north of the Yangtze. Both were established previously.
Stationed at Leigang. Formerly held by an assistant regional commander; changed in the forty-third year of the Jiajing era.
Formerly held by an assistant regional commander; changed in the forty-third year of the Jiajing era. When there is no conflict, they are stationed at Pizhou; when there is conflict, they defend Yancheng.
Added in the thirty-seventh year of the Jiajing era. In the second year of the Wanli era, they were ordered to focus exclusively on guarding the imperial mausoleums.
Formerly held by a patrol leader; changed in the thirty-sixth year of the Jiajing era.
Formerly established but abolished; restored in the thirteenth year of the Wanli era to patrol and guard the river mouth.
Added in the fortieth year of the Jiajing era; stationed in Huai'an.
