Cypress Bai Cypress/Cedar

The Cypress is classified as a top-grade medicinal substance in the Bencao Classic of Materia Medica. Its leaves, resin, and fruit are all used in medicine. There are diagrams of the Yuanbai Sabina chinensis and Cebai Platycladus orientalis. The cypress is also known as the Gua. Those with a red heart are commonly called Blood Cypress.
