The White Pine features a straight trunk with winding branches, shorter at the top and longer at the bottom, appearing at a distance like a futu pagoda/Buddhist stupa. Its substance is uniquely lightweight. If it is not a distinct branch of the Mugong Lord of Woods, an archaic personification of trees, then it must be that the soil causes its form and nature to vary.
