The Yangui Rock Cinnamon is the Muxi osmanthus. The Mozhuang Manlu Records from the Ink Retreat states that the ancients had no poems written about it, and it is unknown what its old name was. Li Shizhen claims it is of the same category as jungui bamboo-like cinnamon, but slightly different, with thin bark that is not pungent and thus unsuitable for medicinal use.
