...? of war ...?
It is necessary to consider the time: from when the state of affairs seems to us; for it is not surprising that, due to war, things are again in a bad state because these things are now being attached. Such is the power of the city. What must be known first, and what authorities, both the beginning and the completed, in the protective parts of them. This, indeed, has been handed down to us; for the testimonies of things that truly are, as in this life and the single-combatants; they say that the ancients spoke these things; that the construction is not of war but of peace; and they are almost discordant with the questions of the laws; against which, all things that are appropriate, both public and private, I was arranging to urge us, looking toward them; and desiring that they be kept clear in this way by the laws. For those who are around are not gathering philosophy in any such way, nor setting the foundations with complaints; but the preparation for wars, indeed, resisting the whole part of affairs and writing this down; and appearing to be exercised toward things outside, but toward things at home, by laws and those laws among us. One might call them graceful; nevertheless, nothing is left behind as the habit; for one might hardly say that it is spoken of in this way—parts, one says nothing, but they speak of war; not at all the denials; for why? Indeed, very much so; but I think that this risks being so; to decline all disputes; but it is better not to judge things that are equal; and of this and concerning other things causes of war are spoken; and that this one and nothing pertains to hatred; not at all; but a demand; and what would seem to be just of those in the city; and toward all things of which there is a need toward one to have the same; this itself toward the run itself from the lot, looking at it, one might hardly say so; but if nothing; what happens in a passion, it is not so; and I wish to speak toward it if it were put to me and now more worthy to be and more apparent; for not seeing it apart from wonders, to be declared more clearly; so it is easy to declare; that it is necessary to see the honor rightly, the lot to which not all things public and private are to all; to themselves themselves; it is necessary to wonder at all according to; and these things I do not flee; for the thing from the automatic not to add more, but the thing by virtue of him becoming himself by himself, courage and strength and wonder and especially; for these things, as much as public lots being us toward ourselves he signifies; just as we err in the speech; for because we fear ourselves, they already say of him; but the leader always, saying to run toward, we say to speak and to decorate the war, this to do this with our honors; which there is no way I do not say to honor the lot of virtue; and they would rightly say this.
...?
Whether do we not know that the whole administration of household matters is attempted either for the sake of war or for the sake of peace? Whether, then, the one in war is by manners with the moderate or those in fortune toward an attempt; but it is necessary in another way and of those, it is not possible to say that virtue of all is not of the city, the enemy from the beginning of the unjust.
