A printed heraldic bookplate for Trinity College, Cambridge. The central shield is divided into two parts: the upper section (chief) features a lion passant between two closed books; the lower section features a chevron between three roses. The shield is framed by elaborate foliate mantling. Below the shield is a decorative scroll containing a Latin inscription identifying the institution.
