And it would not have looked at just any part of it, but at that which has been entrusted with the faculty of vision, which is also called the "pupil." For this reason, images appear in it. And by saying "and god," we imply the ecstatic original: "ἐνθεοσιαστικῶς", for according to the divine within us, we are ecstatic, being simple, just as the divine itself is.
