I pondered this with great diligence, and it occurred to me: that the Fifth Essence original Latin: "Quinta Essentia" — the "quintessence," or the pure, celestial substance that permeates all nature, beyond the four physical elements was understood by it; and because the Sun original Latin: "Sol" — in alchemy, the Sun represents Gold carries a circle with a center point The alchemical symbol for the Sun/Gold is ☉ as its sign, this wise man [Solomon] has infallibly meant the circle (Gold) with the doubled number and the center (the Fifth Essence) with the concentrated or single number.
