The coat of arms of the University of Oxford, featuring a central shield containing an open book. The book is inscribed with the translation: "The Lord is my Light" original: "DOMI MINA NVS TIO ILLV MEA"; Latin for "Dominus Illuminatio Mea," the motto of Oxford University taken from Psalm 27.
