...of his animals and all his household. And the Lord said to Noah, "Enter, you and all your household into the ark, for I have seen you righteous before me in this generation. And of the clean cattle take to yourself seven pairs, male and female; and of the cattle that are not clean, two by two, male and female; and of the birds of the sky that are not clean, two by two, male and female; and of the birds of the sky that are clean, seven pairs, male and female," to preserve seed upon all the earth "to preserve seed upon all the earth. For yet seven days and I will bring rain upon the earth, forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe out every living thing upon the earth that I made from the face of the earth." And Noah did all that the Lord God commanded him. And Noah was six hundred years old, and the flood of water was upon the earth. And Noah and his sons and his wife and the wives of his sons with him entered into the ark because of the water of the flood. And of the clean cattle, and of the cattle not clean, and of the birds that were clean, and of the unclean, and of all the creeping things that creep upon the earth, two by two they entered to Noah into the ark, male and female two by two they entered to Noah into the ark, male and female, just as God commanded him. And it happened after the seven days, and the water of the flood was upon the earth. In the six-hundredth year of the life of Noah, in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, on this day, all the fountains of the abyss were broken up, and the cataracts of the sky were opened. And the rain fell upon the earth forty days and forty nights. On this day, Noah, Shem, Ham, Japheth, the sons of Noah, and the wife of Noah, and the three wives of his sons with him entered into the ark. And all the wild beasts according to their kind, and all the cattle according to their kind, and every creeping thing moving upon the earth according to its kind, and every bird according to its kind, entered to Noah into the ark, two by two of all flesh in which is the breath of life. And those that entered, male and female of all

flesh entered, just as God commanded him. And the Lord God closed the ark from outside him. And the flood happened forty days and forty nights upon the earth, and the water multiplied and lifted the ark, and it was raised from the earth. And the water prevailed and multiplied greatly upon the earth, and the ark was carried above the water. And the water prevailed very greatly upon the earth, and covered all the high mountains that were under the sky. Fifteen cubits the water rose, and it covered all the high mountains. And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, of the birds and of the cattle and of the wild beasts, and every creeping thing moving upon the earth, and every man, and everything that has the breath of life. And everyone who was upon the dry land died. And he wiped out every living thing that was upon the face of all the earth, from man to cattle, and from creeping things and from birds of the sky, and they were wiped out from the earth. And only Noah was left and those with him in the ark. And the water rose upon the earth one hundred and fifty days. And God remembered Noah, and all the wild beasts, and all the cattle, and all the birds, and all the creeping things that were with him in the ark. And God sent a wind upon the earth and the water subsided, and the fountains of the abyss and the cataracts of the sky were covered. And the rain was restrained from the sky. And the water continued to flow away from the earth. And the water decreased after one hundred and fifty days. And the ark sat in the seventh month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat. The water was receding until the tenth month. In the tenth month, on the first of the month, the heads of the mountains were seen. creeping things that were with him in the ark.
