But Tamar, having been saved by her father-in-law, cast her spirit toward him; his passion was lifted, and the desire was given to deception; but a clamor remaining... heavy with them; his struggle from both, but the righteous Joseph, his, the leaves from his grace, the metal of the law? by which was released his name Zarah; from Judah it was slighted, they say?; let it be, by which he redeemed him before the written word likewise; heavy from the beginning, witnessing toward virtue, Egyptian; for the member happened to be, among the Jews, of darkness... and through the great honor in Joseph we might obtain; by which both, also having commanded the unholy; and to serve his, which to us repenting, I live all things; to do me always in the beginning of his grace; and having found the favor upon him, the one with him; which to us good, but his by which with him, of all upon the... of his, by which from the... of Joseph to him, whence with him, in use, by which to stand... but of all, and the things in his house, and in the field, and of his house, by which God said to him, by which the care in the house of all indeed of the Jews, not even by which from whom the reward through all this, being his, upon that he was with them from the earth; by which he entrusted all that was to him into the hands of Joseph; and he knew nothing of the things concerning himself, except for the bread which he ate; because he was his life, and after these words, by which from him the things of the belongings.
And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, the eunuch of Pharaoh, the chief cook, an Egyptian man, bought him from the hands of the Ishmaelites who had brought him down there. And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a man who was successful, and he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian. And his master knew that the Lord was with him, and that all that he might do, the Lord prospers in his hands. And Joseph found favor before his master, and he pleased him. And he appointed him over his house, and all that he had he gave into the hand of Joseph. And it happened after he was appointed over his house and over all his belongings, the Lord blessed the house of the Egyptian because of Joseph. And the blessing of the Lord came to be in all his belongings, in the house and in the field. And he entrusted all that was to him into the hands of Joseph, and he knew nothing of the things concerning himself, except for the bread which he ate.
And Joseph was beautiful in appearance and very handsome in looks. And it happened after these words, the wife of his master cast her eyes upon Joseph and says to him, "Lie with me." But he would not, but said to the wife of his master, "If my master knows nothing because of me in his house, and all that is his he has given into my hands, and no one in this house is superior to me, nor has he withheld anything from me, except you, because you are his wife; and how shall I do this wicked deed, and sin against God?" And it happened when she spoke to Joseph day by day, and he did not listen to her to lie with her, to be with her; and it happened on such a day, that Joseph entered into the house to do his work, and there was no one of those in the house inside. And she pulled him by his garments, saying, "Lie with me." And having left his garments in her hands, he fled and went outside.
