...for this reason ... he did not remember ... Joseph ...?
It was Pharaoh's birthday, and he made a feast for all his servants, and he remembered the office of the chief cupbearer and the office of the chief baker in the midst of his servants; and he restored the chief cupbearer to his office and gave the cup into the hand of Pharaoh; but the chief baker he hanged, just as Joseph had ordered them; but the chief cupbearer did not remember Joseph, but forgot him. And it happened after two years of days, Pharaoh saw a dream; he thought he was standing by the river; and behold, seven cows, beautiful in appearance and choice in flesh, seemed to be coming up out of the river, and they grazed in the marsh grass; and seven other cows were coming up after them out of the river, ugly in appearance and thin in flesh, and they grazed beside the cows at the edge of the river; and the seven ugly and thin-fleshed cows ate the seven cows that were beautiful in appearance and choice. And Pharaoh awoke, and he slept, and he saw a second dream; and behold, seven ears of grain were growing on one stalk, choice and beautiful; and seven other ears, thin and blasted by the wind, were springing up after them; and the seven thin and blasted ears swallowed the seven choice and full ears; and Pharaoh awoke, and it was a dream. And it happened in the morning, and his soul was troubled; and he sent and called all the interpreters of Egypt and all its wise men, and Pharaoh told them his dream, and there was no one who could explain it to Pharaoh. And the chief cupbearer spoke to Pharaoh, saying, "I remember my sin today; Pharaoh was angry with his servants and placed us in custody in the house of the chief cook, both me and the chief baker; and we saw a dream in one night, I and he; each of us saw according to his own dream; and there was there with us a young Hebrew lad, a servant of the chief cook, and we told our dreams to him."

to him; and he interpreted to us; and it happened just as he interpreted to us, so it came to pass; that I was restored to my office and that one was hanged. And Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him out of the stronghold, and they shaved him and changed his garment, and he came to Pharaoh. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, "I have seen a dream, and there is no one who interprets it; but I have heard about you, that you hear dreams and interpret them." And Joseph, answering Pharaoh, said, "Without God, the salvation of Pharaoh will not be answered." And Pharaoh told Joseph, saying, "I thought I was standing by the edge of the river; and seemingly from the river were coming up seven cows, beautiful in appearance and choice in flesh, and they grazed in the marsh grass; and behold, seven other cows were coming up after them from the river, evil and ugly in appearance and thin in flesh, such as I have not seen such in all the land of Egypt, ugly; and the seven ugly and thin cows ate the seven first cows that were beautiful and choice; and they went into their bellies, and it was not clear that they had gone into their bellies, and their appearance was ugly just as at the beginning. And having awakened, I slept, and I saw again in my dream, and seemingly seven ears of grain were growing on one stalk, full and beautiful; and seven other ears, thin and blasted by the wind, were springing up next to them; and the seven thin and blasted ears swallowed the seven beautiful and full ears. I told the interpreters, and there was no one who could explain it to me." And Joseph said to Pharaoh, "The dream of Pharaoh is one; God has shown to Pharaoh what He is doing; the seven beautiful cows are seven years; and the seven beautiful ears are seven years; the dream of Pharaoh is one; and the seven thin and evil cows coming up after them are seven years, and the seven thin and blasted ears..."
