which everything is explained here so clearly that not only can everyone understand it quite easily, but also, if one wishes to reflect upon the matters further with diligence, one may find occasion to improve upon them.

And just as the fruits of a tree are far more delightful than the root, so the art becomes much more pleasant when its benefit and use are proven and shown at the same time with the deed.

Thus I have herein brought to light several cordial machines and new inventions of fine water syringes, which, according to this description, can be quite easily set into action and used by anyone, just as the disassembly of such work is visibly demonstrated in plate 24.

Such work, now, and this second part of the Theatri Machinarum Theater of Machines, I do herewith serve your High and Well-wise selves
