Theater of Machines regarding mill-work. For it is well known to me how the Brother-in-law carries, among other things, a splendid desire and fondness for these arts.

Furthermore, I am moved to this by the special friendship that the Brother-in-law has shown and proven to me in many ways for some time. Therefore, I should not fail, not only because of the art itself but also to show my grateful disposition toward the Brother-in-law, to honor him with this little book. I ask quite kindly and diligently that the Brother-in-law accept it as nothing other than well-intended, and maintain his favorable disposition toward me.
