The emblem of the National Printing Office depicts a central medallion with the intertwined letters "IN" surrounded by decorative scrollwork, floral motifs, and two winged putti. Above the medallion sits a caduceus helmet. Ribbons intertwined with the ornamentation bear the words "ADMINISTRATION", "LAWS", "SCIENCES", and "ARTS".
