Vitricus stepfather is the husband of the mother to the sons born from another husband.

Privignus stepson In Dutch: "stiefsoen". Privigna stepdaughter In Dutch: "stiefdochter".
Consobrinus cousin is the son of my sister. Gener son-in-law is the husband of the daughter.
Glos sister-in-law (husband's sister) is the wife of your brother. Nurus daughter-in-law is the wife of the son.
Nepos nephew/grandson is luxurious. It also is born from a son or daughter. They usurp it, although ineptly, for the son of a brother or sister.
Socer father-in-law is the father of the husband or wife. Socrus mother-in-law is their mother.
Consularis ex-consul is said of one who has held the consulship and magistracies, as "my father is one of the consuls" In Dutch: "een van der wet raetsman" - one of the lawmakers/counselors.
Consulo te I consult you—that is, I seek counsel from you. Consulo tibi I give counsel to you—that is, I give counsel.
Consulunt they consult is said more frequently [of] judges [when they] consult or deliberate.
Consultus counselor/wise is prudent and knowing, from whom counsel is to be sought.
Consultor counselor/person consulting is taken as much for him who seeks counsel as for him who gives it.
Contra, econtrario, econverso, ediverso, eregiome are said in Latin. But econtra is barbaric.
Contrariorum of contraries is not said, but adversorum of opposites or contrarius sum I am contrary.

Cum with as a preposition ought to be placed before a word signifying a companion, as cum bonis ambula walk with good men. It is not joined to a word signifying an instrument.
