A detailed copperplate engraving depicts the interior of the Kircherian Museum (Musaeum Kircherianum) in the Roman College. The scene shows a long, vaulted gallery filled with scientific instruments, antiquities, skeletons, and two large obelisks. In the foreground, three figures in scholarly attire are walking. Above the gallery, a group of putti hold a banner inscribed with "MUSEUM OF THE ROMAN COLLEGE of the Society of Jesus" beneath a cartouche featuring the IHS Jesuit emblem.
