A mirrored printer's device is visible through the paper from the title page on the recto. It depicts a Pegasus atop a caduceus held by two clasped hands emerging from clouds. This is the mark of the printer Andreas Wechel. Mirrored fragments of the title "FRENCH GRAMMAR" and the imprint "PARIS... 1560" are also visible.
