A large, ornate woodcut printer's device. At the top, an eagle with outstretched wings sits on a crown. Below the crown, a complex cartouche of scrolling floral and leafy elements surrounds a central shield. The shield displays a dolphin entwined around an anchor. A circular ink stamp from the "CENTRAL NATIONAL LIBRARY OF FLORENCE" is visible on the lower-left side of the woodcut.
