Utopia, called such in olden times for its scarcity,
Now a rival of the Platonic state,
Perhaps its conqueror (for what that [Plato] delineated in letters,
I have performed alone, with men, riches, and excellent laws),
I deserve to be called by the name Eutopia a place of happiness.
