in the Hebrew language by Brother Sebastian Münster of Ingelheim, a Minorite friar. The following page will indicate what is treated herein in order.
A woodcut depicts the printer's mark of Johann Froben. A central shield features a caduceus: a vertical staff topped with a dove, entwined by two serpents facing each other. The staff is held by two hands emerging from clouds on either side. To the right of the shield are two circular blue-ink library stamps; the larger one belongs to the Biblioteca Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele in Rome.
The work is recent and has been corrected page by page by the author himself in the workshop of Froben.
