Doubt VII. What of a priest who is a recluse or a hermit and solitary, about to celebrate.
VIII. What if someone omits any of the aforementioned requirements.

Chapter VI encloses three articles within itself.

Art. I. It resolves 10 doubts that arise regarding things to be done and said before Mass.

I. Whether anything specifically must be done before Mass.
II. Regarding due and sufficient preparation for celebrating.
III. In what manner and in what things one about to celebrate ought to prove and examine himself.
IIII. How much diligence is required in the aforementioned examination.
V. Regarding the certainty of sufficient diligence.
Doubt VI. In what consists sufficient purification of conscience.
VII. What if the celebrant cannot have a confessor.
VIII. Regarding the adornment of the conscience of the celebrant.
IX. Whether the prior recitation of the canonical hours is required before celebration.
X. Whether, besides the above, there are any other things to be said or done before Mass.

Art. II. It resolves 14 doubts incident regarding things to be said and done in Mass and the mode of saying and doing them.

I. What are to be said and done in Mass, and in what manner.
II. Whether anything ought to be said in Mass which is not contained in the Missal.
III. Whether the words of the canon ought to be said secretly.
IIII. Whether the rest ought to be said in a loud and intelligible voice.
V. Whether, in the commemorations, the naming of certain people ought to be done.
Doubt VI. Whether, before celebration, one may have a memory of certain people by name.
VII. Whether the attention of the celebrant is required regarding things to be said and done.
VIII. Whether devotion is required in the celebrant.
IX. Whether the celebrant ought to stand with head uncovered.
X. Regarding how the ablution after the consumption of the blood ought to be done.
XI. Whether a priest, once the Mass has begun, can desist.
XII. What if a priest, once the Mass has begun, dies or falls into infirmity.
