A central teotl deity sits upon a platform beneath a stylized tree. The figure wears an elaborate headdress and jewelry. A bird descends toward the figure's outstretched hand. To the right of the deity are various ritual objects, including a sacrificial blade and a ceremonial vessel. The top of the scene features a sequence of seven colored circles representing a day count within the tonalpohualli the 260-day sacred calendar. Below the scene is a frieze containing zoomorphic glyphs and symbols. A small glyph is visible in the upper left corner.
