This section of the codex features four distinct ritual scenes arranged in a row. Each scene includes figures in traditional attire interacting with symbolic objects, set against frames of colored dots that function as calendrical signs. The upper left scene shows a figure interacting with a bird perched on a vessel. The second frame shows a figure offering an object to another person or a deity. The third shows a seated figure before an altar or ritual vessel. The fourth shows a figure holding an object near a seated partner. The art follows traditional Mixtec and Aztec pictorial iconography.
