9. This, their Humidum radicale radical moisture, is composed more of very oily, tough, viscous, earthly, and watery moisture than of airy moisture, and is afterwards united with the heavenly light or rays of the stars.

11. The oily moisture of the elements, found in all places and united with the heavenly light, is the seed or the purest part of each element, which it throws and deposits into the center of the earth.
12. In this center, the power of nature, which is called Archaeus the vital formative force of nature, mixes these same seeds with one another. The heavenly light awakens the vapors and drives them up and down. As they ascend and descend, they become bodies. From the heavenly light, however, which lies hidden and rests in their center, they receive their true distinction.
