different powers to drive forth this or that plant. The astral influence the power of the stars informs our fountain, so to speak.

5. Because, as has been said, the difference between the stars causes the difference between the plants. Therefore, no little herb is found on earth that does not have its corresponding star in the heavens.

6. For there are countless and special stars in the heavens which bring forth, nourish, and maintain different and special herbs. The more powerful this specific astral power is, the more abundantly this or that herb grows.

7. And it is no wonder that a greater quantity of herbs grows in one place than in another. This stems from the astral spirit the spiritual essence of the stars, which determines our fountain into this or that shape.

8. The constellations therefore specify our fountain, which is the fat moisture of the elements the oily, nutritive substance within the elements. These elements constitute our fountain materially.

9. The heavenly and astral spirit, however, is the form the defining essence or blueprint of that same fat moisture of the elements, which brings to it its specific determination.
