Out of Catalogue number 67.
Precious unfinished manuscript on Alchemy, from the 18th century, composed of a copy of The Most Precious Gift of God original: "Pretiosissimum Donum Dei" by G. Aurach, similar to the copy of Mr. de Paulmy deposited at the Arsenal Library. The second unfinished part includes the frontispiece of the Twelve Keys of Basil Valentine original: "12 clefs de Basile Valentin" as well as figures 7, 9, and 10, which are uncolored. The rest of the volume is composed of blank leaves. The initials on the title page have not been identified. To be noted is the curious spelling of the word clef key which follows the recommendation of Father Soubal.
A very? rare and precious set bound in flexible? half-vellum.
