Since I have now undertaken to write of the first teinture tincture or transformative essence and root of metals and minerals, and to represent, in the form of instructions, their Spiritual Substance and how metals were first conceived spiritually and born corporally: it is necessary to first make understood through this discourse that everything is found in these two things, natural and supernatural. Thus, that which is visible, palpable, and formed is natural, but that which is impalpable and spiritual is supernatural, and it must be understood and judged by faith, like the Creation, and primarily by the Holy Divine Trinity.
