Emblem 22: A circular frame depicts a sphere resting on a flat landscape. The sphere is so perfect that it touches the ground at only a single, tiny point. Above it are clouds and a radiant sun. The Latin motto is written in a circular path around the image.

It touches at only the lowest point; the rest is upward. original: "Infimo tantùm Puncto tangit, Coetera sursum." This illustrates the ideal state of a spiritual soul: although it exists in the physical world, it maintains only the slightest contact with the earth, while its entire volume and focus are directed toward the heavens.
