Wherein the most distinguished,
excellent, exquisite, magnificent, and verified writings
and books of authors from the ancient treasury
of the remaining, hidden, and withheld
relics and monuments of the Egyptians,
Arabs, Chaldeans, and Assyrians,
kings and sages.
The noble, highly enlightened, excellent,
and verified philosopher Salomon
Trismosino (who was the preceptor of the great philosopher and physician
Theophrastus Paracelsus) arranged
into specific separate short treatises,
and brought into the German language.
Together with other specific short treatises of
philosophical, ancient, and modern writers, all
never before heard or seen,
as the Catalogus catalog indicates.
By one who loves the art, with great
cost, effort, labor, and danger, the originals
and manuscripts have been collected,
and most faithfully and diligently
brought to light.
First printed at Rorschach on Lake Constance,
Anno 1599.
