Both ancient and contemporary medical practitioners conclude and boast, as their manifold writings clearly and sufficiently demonstrate, that all sorts of noble and other STONES / namely crystal, Lapis Lazuli sky-blue stone; Margaritæ pearls; mater perlarum mother-of-pearl; Corallium album & rubrum white and red coral; Ætites eagle-stone; Ophites serpent-stone; Lapis Lyncis lynx-stone; Lapis Judaicus Jew-stone; Lapis percarum perch-stone; Lapis spongiæ sponge-stone; Lapis Gammarorum sive cancrorum crab-eyes; Tartarus vel calculus renum & vesicæ Microcosmi Tartar or kidney and bladder stones of the Microcosm; which have either passed with the urine / or were removed from the human through surgery, etc. / and other STONES / when such are simply crushed in a mortar / and rubbed on a grinding stone with either aqva fragorum strawberry-water / or other distilled waters pleasant to them for this purpose / and are pulverized subtly (which most of these physicians, indeed all pharmacies commissioned by them, prescribe / and after the aforementioned preparation / call PREPARED corals / pearls / gems & stones) against tartar, or earthy / coarse / viscous slime / also grit / sand / stone / and OTHER TARTARIC DISEASES
