A full-page copperplate engraving features an architectural and landscape composition. Two prominent fluted columns stand on square bases atop a large, three-part stone pedestal. Each column is crowned with a large, unadorned sphere. In the upper portion, above the columns, a rugged mountain range spans the width of the frame under a sky filled with heavy clouds. A seated figure is positioned on the highest central peak, holding a long scepter topped with a crescent or floral emblem in the right hand and supporting a round shield with the left. The central space between the columns is blank, though it contains faint, reversed text from the opposite side of the leaf.
