Esdras, book 4, chapter 14, verse 37, etc.: And I took five men, as the Lord commanded me, and we went out into the field, and we remained there. And it came to pass the next day, and behold, a voice called me, saying: Esdras, open your mouth, and drink what I shall give you to drink. And I opened my mouth, and behold, a chalice full was offered to me. It was full, as if with water, but its color was like fire. And I took it and drank, and when I had drunk it, my heart overflowed with understanding, and wisdom grew in my breast. For my spirit was preserved in memory.
