Some also send letters to the Fraternity, in which they ask either to be accepted into their society, or to be healed of their diseases, or to be visited at a certain place, and to be answered to their requests and questions; and when they cannot obtain this, they think they have thereby gained new reasons to slander.
Some impostors also tend to use this order to beautify themselves, and under such a pretext to cheat the simple-minded out of money, and also very often to commit great misdeeds under such a pretext, who, now being found to be impostors, thieves, or murderers, should rightly be subjected to appropriate punishment.
